打疫苗 (dǎ yì miáo): get immunized
This refers to the Shanxi vaccination scandal in which a number of children died and others were injured because of improperly stored vaccines. Government officials were blamed for the lapses that led to the poisonings. The term has become a taunt used towards government officials, as in “Minister Wu, don’t forget to get your daughter immunized!” For more about the Shanxi vaccine scandal read here and here.
