斧头帮 (fǔ tóu bāng): Axe Gang
The Axe Gang is a gang that existed in Shanghai during the Japanese occupation. The gang has appeared in several Hong Kong martial arts films, most famously Kung Fu Hustle.
The Axe Gang is also a code word for the Communist Party. There are certain similarities between the Axe Gang as it is portrayed in Kung Fu Hustle, and the Communist Party (see here).
