Blackboard Fox

黑板狐 (hēibǎn hú): blackboard fox

“There will be new schools! There will be new homes!”

This is a reference to Hu Jintao. The Mandarin word for “fox” in Chinese, 狐 (hú), sounds very similar to the former president's surname, 胡 (Hú). He earned this nickname while visiting victims of the 2010 Qinghai earthquake in hard-hit Yushu county. Hu Jintao entered a classroom and wrote on the board, “There will be new schools! There will be new homes!” (“新校园，会有的！新家园，会有的！”) He then led the students in a recitation of those lines. The blackboard is being preserved in the Qinghai provincial museum.
