日人民报 (Rì Rénmín Bào): Screwing People Post
A pejorative parody of the People’s Daily (人民日报 Rénmín Rìbào) created by moving 日 (rì), a character that translates to “day” but can colloquially be used to mean “to fuck.”
Netizens mock the low readership of the People’s Daily, calling it “The Paper the People Don’t Read” (人民不看的日报 Rénmín Bú Kàn de Rìbào), and criticize it for being an uncritical voice of the Party. There have been allegations that a number of its stories are factually incorrect, leading netizens to joke that the only reliable information in the newspaper are the date and page number.
